The cabins are located on 40 private acres with two sides bordering the beautiful national forest. The cabins, fondly called "ROCKING CHAIR RIDGE", are located in the "Heart of the Ozark Mountains" in Jasper, AR.
For your enjoyment we are only minutes from the BUFFALO NATIONAL RIVER, established in March of 1972 as the country's first national river. Also, we are pleased that Newton County is the "Elk Capital of Arkansas" with over 450 elk roaming the area.
ROCKING CHAIR RIDGE is air-conditioned & equipped with all the items you need to enjoy your visit. Just bring your favorite groceries!
Most of our guest are 5 - 9 time repeaters! They all love the seclusion, great mountain views, and wildlife. Many guest bring their ATVs, some bring horses, both are always welcome. We love pets & are pet friendly with some restrictions.
